Administrative News
The Iowa District West Business Office is responsible for the administration and finances of the IDW office in Fort Dodge. Business Manager Roger Curtis is also responsible for office management and property maintenance. In addition to these responsibilities, Roger also serves IDW congregations in providing support services in church administration and coordinates the annual Church & Clergy Treasurer’s Workshops and Secretarial/Administrative Assistants conferences. Roger is a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of Business in Administration and Management. He has worked for LCMS organizations in finance and administration since 1991 and at the District Office since 1998. In the District, he currently is staff advisor for the Stewardship Committee and the Endowment & Legacy Committee secretary. For the last several years, he serves on the LCMS Congregational Treasurer’s Manual Committee, the LCMS Business Administrators Conference Committee, and is a past member of The Church Network - Des Moines chapter (formerly called the National Association of Church Business Administration). Roger is also currently serving on the Board of Directors of the Lutheran Federal Credit Union.
